This is a drum-shaped pouf, widening as it meets the floor so it feels grounded. The seat is upholstered in natural fibre fabric from a collaboration with atelier Tramaretecidos, and hand painted in watercolour with plum-toned strokes over a white ground. Three blown-glass spheres lift the piece just off the ground. They are transparent but hold details that recall Murano glass. Created by Patrícia Faragone, it reflects her long connection to textiles and her more recent work with glass.
Homo Faber Finds is a new service aiming to inspire admirers of craft to connect and collaborate with exceptional artisans.
