Ikebana form
Carved from a solid block of clay, the surface of this ikebana vase echoes a faceted rock face. This piece was designed to be used in conjunction with ikebana, the traditional Japanese art of flower arranging. The vessel was fired in an electric kiln to Cone 10. The body is made of stoneware and glazed with a copper and titanium glaze.
