Silver and white tea bowl

This elegant bowl was wheel-thrown, white-glazed, and fired at a high temperature. Its surface was then coated with silver and fired again. The sgraffito-like pattern emerges through a glaze-resist technique, lending the piece both texture and quiet brilliance.
