This 3D piece is a meticulously crafted textile artwork created through the combination of multiple hand embroidery techniques. The cat characters at the centre of the composition are rendered with a realistic approach using the thread painting technique. Once embroidered, they are transformed into appliqué elements and applied onto the surface, emerging as dimensional components of the scene. The birds are made using the stump work method, adding another layer of physical depth to the composition. The stage and opera set are sculpted using layers of photo board, interwoven with fabric inserts between each level.
