Moonlit Flowers 2
This flower hairpin is created using mitsuro hikime, a traditional Japanese lost-wax technique. Each petal is delicately hand-sculpted and arranged into a natural, organic form. A slender stem is soldered to each piece. To complete the object, 24k gold leaf is fused to the inner surfaces of the petals to add a warm, inner glow.
