Shizen-nerikomi flower vessel

This Bizen ware flower vessel is made from three joined flat pieces. It has a light-coloured surface brought on by oxidation firing, a clean, straight shape, and a rough clay texture with melted ash glaze. Flame exposure during firing created colour variations across the piece.
