This commemorative medal is dedicated to Jan Karol Chodkiewicz, one of Europe's most famous generals of the 17th century. He fought the Swedes, Muscovites, and Turks, and gained eternal fame in 1605 at the battle of Kircholm. The medal is 60 mm in diameter, and is made of brass and silver.
