Using a combination of English oak and dyed wood veneers, Carl Fox made this piece with hand cut, blockwork parquetry to explore the order within chaos in relation to mental health. This exploratory series following his scholarship from the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust uses a combination of techniques that age and patinate the wood, to accentuate the beauty in natural grain patterns.
