Wood parquet exploration

This piece uses hand cut parquetry in a range of wood species to study the beauty in decay. In his exploratory series following his scholarship from the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust, Carl Fox uses a combination of techniques that age and patinate the wood, creating texture that comes from decades of wear.
