Anima is a series of tableware handcrafted from food waste and urushi, or Japanese lacquer. Kosuke Araki made this work to encourage us to rethink our relationship with nature. Bringing food waste back on the table, this tableware aims to serve up an opportunity to reflect on the numerous issues around eating and waste. When Japanese lacquer is brushed and/or polished, items are suitable for containing liquid.
Homo Faber Finds is a new service aiming to inspire admirers of craft to connect and collaborate with exceptional artisans.
