HOMO FABER FELLOWSHIP

Hi’iaka

This vase is composed of two thrown elements assembled together to create a totem-like form. Two round handles, hand-modelled from a slab are attached at the junction of the two elements. Large removable hoops are hanging through these handles. The whole piece is hand painted line by line on all the facets of each element and then sprayed with a transparent matte glaze.
