
This piece is made in white stoneware clay using the lastra technique. Fired at 1250ºC, the glazes were made from pigments extracted from the Azorean island of Santa Maria. The interlaced wicker, also planted and treated in the island, was made in collaboration with artisan Aida Bairos.
