This red-coloured stoneware vase was fired at 1250ºC at Marina Mendonça’s studio. The interior glaze is homemade with pigments extracted from the Azorean island of Santa Maria. Using roller and potter's wheel techniques, this piece evokes legends of oceanic monsters.
