Infinite lineage, 1

To create this piece, discarded oak was carved on a lathe, then blackened with an iron-vinegar mordant. The cups, spheres, and base are inspired by nature’s forms such as ripples. With a lit candle atop, or used inverted, the piece reflects a forgotten balance of nature's harmony.
