Torus of powdered

This circular work is made of thin, brittle glass. It is created by making a plaster mould, applying powdered glass to the inside and heating it in a kiln. The thin shell-like glass allows light to pass through and the interior of the circle is hollow, with the inner structure visible through the gaps.
