Waulking Jacket

This jacket was gifted to Rosalind Wyatt by a Scottish couple. The tweed it is made of was acquired in the Hebrides islands and then made into a jacket by a tailor in Dundee. It was worn by the original owners’ father to walk across the Scottish hills, hence the name “Waulking”. In her embroidery, Rosalind echoes cut flora and fauna which adorn the back.
