Luis Torres first created this Japanese-style bowl on the potter's wheel. He meticulously hand-finished it to replicate irregular, small hills. He then added engobes and coloured glazes to create an abstract landscape. In this stoneware piece, traditional pottery techniques Luis learned in his village are combined with a more unrestricted and state-of-the-art design.
