This piece depicts a nation's memories. It expresses the monotony created by globalisation, a world of similar societies. Turquoise is used as the symbolic colour of Turkey, along with the Turkic letters which come from Orhun inscriptions from a site in Central Asia. This style is described as ‘tradi-contemporary’ by Arzu Arslan.
