The DNA Series is a trio and this is the last work of this concept series. The general concept of the series is “our DNA has been destroyed,” in reaction to wars, wildfires, earthquakes, floods, climate change and refugee crises. The object took eight months to create and underwent four stages: creating the ceramic form and first firing; opening holes on the biscuit with a screw; decorating, glazing and second firing; and knitting/crocheting with ropes and wires.
