Graphic Band
This is a spun porcelain vessel with a black and grey graphic band. This work is the result of a new technique which was developed for spinning porcelain casting slips into various moulds. This produces a unique, translucent egg-shell bowl each time. The essence of this work is to capture the feeling of movement within simplicity of form.
