Shirahana goblet

This goblet is hand-thrown on a wheel. Its distinctive matte white texture represented in the name of the series which translates as white flower, is the result of Hitoshi Morimoto’s experimentation with the traditional yakishime firing technique, using local Bizen clay. The piece is well-suited for richly coloured drinks like wine or coffee.
