Roger likes to think that we all have our own artistic language and sees each sculpture as a word that will help him define his. Scale, texture and colour are elements that help him set the tone and message of each piece. This glazed purple sculpture has been constructed from several moulded segments of stoneware. Roger does not plan his pieces but rather constructs them until they feel coherent.
