Redsl1901

Roger likes to think that we all have our own artistic language and sees each sculpture as a word that will help him define his. Scale, texture and colour are elements that help him set the tone and message of each piece. This bright red sculpture has been constructed from several moulded and slip cast stoneware pieces. Roger does not plan his pieces out but rather keeps constructing them until they feel coherent. The final bright red of this piece comes from coloured slip.
