The Brisbane II

This large globe was made using traditional methods such as wetting and stretching paper gores across a handmade sphere. The map is designed by Bellerby & Co using present-day cartography. The wooden base was crafted in such a way as to allow the globe to spin 360 degrees within a handmade and hand-engraved brass meridian.
