These five vases form part of Ute Beck's GLOSS & GLITTER series that explores and plays on notions of abundance, opulence and decadence of the baroque attitude to life. These sensuous vases enter into an amusing dialogue with contemporary questions of decadence. The vases were handbuilt from stoneware, glazed with shiny and matt platinum and copper glazes and finally fired at 1220°C.
