Ormeggio

The design of this carpet, handwoven by Mariantonia Urru, combines two lines of research carried out by the designer Paulina Herrera: the landscapes of Sardinia and the dynamic perception of spaces. The image represents a map of the movement of boats in a port in the north of the island, over a day. The concept of dynamics led to the innovative composition of the yarns to reflect the movement of water in the perimeter of the carpet.
