This elegant vase has been shaped from porcelain and decorated with a black glaze. Through her creations, Embla Sigurgeirsdóttir conveys some of the rugged elements of Icelandic nature, using the formed porcelain vase to carve its delicate surface with light patterns, playing with the boundaries of the material that she likes to push further each time.
