BI

BI is a combination of two objects, a breadbasket and a cheeseboard, created to be used together. Using an ancient design from the Basque culture, an aventador, as well as an under-over pattern, Daniel creates a new use for this classical weave. A piece of woven rattan modelled as the aventador holds a smaller piece of flat ceramic on top. In contrast, the second piece is a ceramic with the aventador's form, and a rattan woven flat piece on top.
