Inspired by an antique mirror frame, this particular decorative panel is held together by the handcrafted rattan work. The decorative panel is composed of a squared wooden frame and a smaller rounded wooden frame. They are woven together with rattan to hold the rounded frame in place with a technique known as the Seven Step Method. The method is typically found in rattan work used with chairs and is also known as classic cane webbing.
