Ceramic vessel
This hand-built ceramic teapot is made of red clay using a coil building technique. Mounted on a narrow foot, the teapot's overall proportions are vertically elongated. The work is entirely covered with white glaze. It has a spout, pointed handle and a narrow opening on the top. The ball-shaped stopper is smooth and transparent, which contrasts with the rough surface of the body. The vessel's elongated shape gives an overall exotic fairy tale flavour to the work.
