Fragile Equilibrium
Fragile Equilibrium, a sculpture handcrafted from eucalyptus wood and gold leaf, is part of Ursula Núñez's Marinas series. The works of this series are inspired by her concern about the state of our oceans and its habitants. Seashells are objects of inspiration for Ursula. This sculpture is carved from a slab of eucalyptus; a hard wood that has a beautiful dark red colour and very subtle horizontal veins.
