Rest

Rest, or "Descanso" in Spanish, is a small wood sculpture hand-carved from the root of an olive tree. One can distinguish the torso of a figure, whose head is a knot with dark markings leaning onto himself. The undulating rhythm of the body plays with the empty spaces and a variety of marks and textures that came with the root's irregularities.
