Group of tall vessels

The group of tall vessels is made from slabs of stoneware clay. The structured surface is achieved by striking the vessel with a batten. Each strike leaves a mark in the clay. An inside casing prevents the shape from collapsing while striking the clay with the batten. The pieces are glazed with brown, yellow and a grey glaze on the outside and a light green glaze on the inside and fired in a gas kiln at 1280°C.
