Just pure air and water

This tapestry of a seascape was handwoven on a vertical loom using traditional tapestry techniques freely reinterpreted through flat and three-dimensional weaving. The threads are hand dyed by Patrizia Polese to create shades and chiaroscuro for a poetic effect.
