Shedding skin vases

After the process of the potter's wheel, this stoneware oval vase by Penélope Vallejo is achieved using oxides for dark colours and several layers of porcelain for the light colour. The final firing can take up to 14 hours, it is the moment when the materials melt and become a unitary and unique piece.
