Visit a Venetian weaving mill

with Tessitura Luigi Bevilacqua

A triumph of fabrics and colour

The visit includes a guided tour of the ancient weaving mill where it is still possible to admire the workmanship of the famous Venetian soprarizzo velvet. This velvet is still handwoven on original 18th century looms by skilled weavers. It is an experience that allows you to take a leap into the past: in addition to the antique looms, in fact, it is possible to see other heirloom tools, including two 18th century warpers still in use. The visit ends in the showroom on the Grand Canal where it is possible to admire and touch the finished products and learn to distinguish the different types of processing. During the visit, some of the most important collaborations developed in the fields of interior design and high fashion will also be illustrated. The visit must be booked in advance.
