Orfebres Peris Roca is a metalsmith that has been operating since 1918. It has won many awards, among them the Artisan Tradition Award 2017 of the Valencian Community. In the atelier the artisans are very proud of their heritage and seek to show and share what they do to interested people who travel the artisan routes of the Valencia Tourism Foundation and those of the Crafts Centre. A visit to the workshop includes a video and a guided tour. The production processes and procedures are explained with an explanation of the history of the craft up to the present day. There is also a tour of some of the iconic pieces they have forged – emblematic pieces – and explains how this links with the culture of the Fallas of Valencia (Intangible Heritage of Humanity, UNESCO) and with contemporary craftsmanship.
