A 12-week ceramics course for beginners in Zagreb

This comprehensive 12-week course offers full immersion into studio ceramics. Aimed at adults seeking a creative break, it suits both beginners and those building on existing skills. The course follows a carefully prepared and curated programme. Participants attend 3-hour sessions once a week, in which they learn to shape clay using pinch, coil and slab techniques. Under Laura Rainbow's guidance, they explore clay surface decoration, textures, carving and colour application, decorating and glazing. Participants gain a solid understanding of storing, drying, shaping, decorating and glazing different clay types. The course includes all tools, materials and a free potter’s wheel session at the end. Please note that students can choose to attend several consecutive 12-week courses to grow and further develop their skills.
