Learning the trade with master ceramicists Juan Ortí and Pepe Royo and enrolling in the Manises School of Ceramics changed the course of Ana Illueca's life. For this reason, she gives lots of importance to formal education. Every Tuesday afternoon, Ana puts aside the lathe and teaches her craft to small groups of people. In addition, she can give more exclusive one-to-one tuition to more advanced students who are working on a specific project and require more personal attention. Ana encourages participants to exploit their creativity and develop their style, learning about several types of clay, the lathe techniques, glazing and firing processes.
