Denis Di Luca invites you to his nature-filled studio, nestled in the green hills of Urbino, for a peaceful two-day immersive introduction to raku ceramics. The workshop begins with an exploration of the basics of raku, including an understanding of different types of clay and experimenting with personalised colour tests. On the first day, you will work with test tiles to learn glazing and firing techniques. The second day will be dedicated to glazing and firing your own ceramic pieces. Each participant will work on three items. No prior experience is needed – just a desire to explore your creativity. Please note that this workshop costs 260 EUR per person. Each day lasts five to six hours and includes lunch. This course is available on weekends and requires booking in advance.
