For 4000 years, glass beads have fascinated people all over the world as pieces of jewellery, bartering objects, or praying aids. On this course offered by glass sculptor Sandra Fuchs, you will learn what an extraordinary material glass is and get an overview of the production of glass beads, while using a two-gas burner. You will work with viscous, 1100°C hot glass, and the creative development process will give you the opportunity to play with material, colours and pattern. The class can be arranged either on weekdays or on the weekend. The price includes the materials.
