Lost-wax casting jewellery classes in Venice

In her atelier next to the St. Mark’s Basilica and the Doge's Palace, the jewellery maker Valeria Sacchi offers the chance to handcraft a jewel using the lost wax ancient casting technique. In a inspirational context, Valeria will show you how to model the malleable wax and shape the object that will be cast in metal. The individual workshop is addressed to anyone aged over ten years old who is interested in creating a unique piece in bronze or silver (gold on request), following their own desires, imagination, feelings, and level. “Working with wax allows you to stay in touch with your inner emotions,” Valeria says.
