Knife making course in Banska Bystrica

In this course participants learn how to make a simple Celtic knife with a braided leather case. You will learn how to forge the knife from spring steel with the help of a file and sandpaper, as well as different ways of processing steel (annealing, hardening and drawing), sharpening the knife and treating the surface. You will also learn some useful leather skills, such as how to braid the handle and sew a case. The result of this course is a functioning, sharp knife ready for everyday use.
