Nemanja Mijić is a knife maker from Bosnia and Herzegovina who wants to make the process of making every ordered knife a participatory experience for his customers. Each customer can actively participate in making their own knife, spend time with Nemanja in the workshop, observe the whole process and perform some simpler tasks under his supervision. The first steps include talking about the design of the knife; its shape and materials. While making the knife, the client can learn to forge or grind, polish and process the handle, as well as how to make the case.
