Make your own leather keepsake

Join Elena Gambino and Fabrizio Lisciandrello for this 2-hour immersive leatherworking experience. Your journey will start with a short introduction in which the artisans will present the story behind their craft career choice, as well as their production philosophy. You will then be introduced to the tools and materials, including leather types and tanning processes, from vegetable-tanned to chrome-tanned, to understand all the materials required to create objects. You will get to work by choosing between three items to make: a coin purse, a keychain, or a card holder. Elena and Fabrizio will guide you throughout the process, helping you explore different techniques, from marking to stitching. Please note that all materials are included in the price and this workshop is conducted without the use of electric machinery.
