Hands-on ceramics workshop tour in Úbeda

Ceramicist Juan Pablo currently runs a ceramic workshop set up by his father in 1965 in the city and the World Heritage site of Úbeda. Juan Pablo invites everyone for a guided visit of his workshop and its museum that boasts a collection of some 700 pieces collected from across the Iberian Peninsula. During the tour, Pablo will demonstrate decorative techniques on ceramic and how to work on the lathe, while giving the visitors a chance to experiment with the lathe and to decorate their own ceramic piece. The tour will finish with a brief history of ceramics in the Andalusian region.
