Introduction to glassblowing in Albacete

Join artisan Luis Machí in this 4-hour glassblowing course. Luis will start with a brief technical explanation of the work and safety procedures. Visitors will then approach the glass furnace to learn how to extract the material needed to start working with the necessary tools and techniques to create a piece. Students will work with colours and learn to decorate the glass to their liking. The atelier is fully equipped with furnaces, blowtorches, tools, blowing benches, colours, and high-quality glass to create any type of piece. All pieces made will be kept in an annealing oven, where they will slowly cool down until the following day. Students who stay until the next day can collect their pieces in the morning. For those who cannot stay, their pieces can be sent to their homes via courier. Please note that this workshop costs 450 EUR per group and needs to be booked in advance.
