Forging metal in the vineyards

La Forge in Chexbres, Switzerland, was originally founded in 1906, and has been in business ever since. Join Bertille Laguet to discover this old workshop, its history and how its master blacksmiths work. As well as witnessing the work in progress of different projects, visitors will don an apron and swing the hammer to create their own object as a beginner blacksmith. The experience will take around two hours, depending on questions and the performance of the group. It terminates with an 'apero' with local food and wine, since La Forge is located in the Unesco World Heritage Lavaux vineyards, overlooking Lake Geneva. La Forge can host a maximum of ten people for safety reasons. Please book your visit in advance.
