The wonderful world of blackletter scripts

Blackletter, also known as Gothic script or Textura, was a script used throughout Western Europe from about 1150 until the 17th century. Textura is a complicated-looking script with a long and interesting history and under the guidance of Linas Spurga, a young but experienced and passionate calligrapher, you will immerse yourself in the history of these scripts. In a short time, you will not only gain theoretical knowledge about blackletter scripts but also learn how to use calligraphic tools and materials. Linas' course is presented as four lectures, each lasting 2 hours.
