Berta Sumpsi has conceived her workshop, shop, and showroom as an “extension of her creative work.” She personally takes care of how to display and sell her jewellery. With this in mind, she offers guided tours to her atelier and other workshops in Barcelona’s Gràcia district, allowing participants not only to learn about her craft but also to discover the work and private spaces of other well-known artisans in the area. This experience comprises a pleasant chat and a walk around the neighbourhood where she presents different approaches to Catalan jewellery in the city where she was born, lives and works.
